FRED ERIKSSON
Fredrik Eriksson is a freelance cameraman based in Helsinki, Finland. Still or Motion, Fred has documented Viafor's exploits around the world ever since we found him lounging in a beach-chair in West Africa. During the years that followed, Fred's become an integral part of the team. And let's face it, once you have sacrificed a goat together, there is no going back.
Fred's portraits always succeed in capturing something special, something just beneath the surface. The photos speak of equality between the artist and the subject. There is nothing pretentious or labored about them. They document people as he finds them, without commendation or condemnation. If they had to be summed up with just one word, that word would surely be respect.
